Staff Spotlight: Olivia Ide

At Forbes Rentals, our team is the heart of everything we do. As we approach our 100-year anniversary in 2026, we’re shining a light on the people who make our service so personal and professional – starting with one of the warm voices of our accounts department, Olivia Ide.

Olivia joined Forbes two and a half years ago as a Customer Accounts Clerk, and since then, she has become an invaluable part of the team – known for her kindness, calm professionalism, and the reassuring way she supports our rental customers.

Whether she's handling direct debit queries, account changes, or invoice requests, Olivia is the person many of our long-standing customers rely on for a clear, helpful response.

“When I first joined Forbes, I was amazed by how loyal Forbes' customers are – I often speak to people who’ve been with us for over 20 years,” Olivia shares. “One customer told me proudly that her mum and grandmother were both Forbes customers before her. She said turning to Forbes for her own rental appliances just felt like the obvious choice.”

It's not just customers Olivia is there for; she recently jumped at the chance to take part in a charity walk for Demelza, our chosen children's hospice charity, joining colleagues in raising funds for an incredible cause.
