Staff Spotlight: Harry Gauld – Laundry Machine Refurbishment Technician

At the heart of our head office, nestled between the engineers’ service depots and the bustling warehouse, you’ll find Harry Gauld hard at work –  and there’s no mistaking the pride he brings to his role.

Harry has been a dedicated member of the Forbes team for over six years, serving as our Appliance Refurbishment Technician. He plays a crucial role in our refurbishment process, breathing new life into pre-loved appliances that return to us after a rental contract.

Working in the wet room, Harry meticulously reconditions each unit  –  deep cleaning, disinfecting, and testing every machine to ensure it meets our high standards before being returned to the market. His work includes performing quick fixes on boots, gaskets, door seals, and pumps, and escalating any more complex issues to our qualified engineers.

“Harry’s attention to detail and commitment to quality is second to none,” says Steve Potter, Service Supervisor. “He’s a pleasure to work with and is an integral part of our operation.

He sets a great example of professionalism and consistency for the whole team.”
